Jamaica U20s start with 1-1 draw

Jamaica drew 1-1 with Costa Rica in their Under 20 Concacaf Championship group opener in Honduras this afternoon.

Dorian Rodriguez opened the scoring in the 58th minute but Jahmari Clarke got the equaliser in the 90+8 minute to deny Costa Rica the win and force a share of the points.

Jamaica had 12 shots, four on target, while Costa Rica had 14 shots, five hitting the mark.

Jamaica will face host nation Honduras in their second group game on Monday at 9:30 p.m.
