Jamaica in double fixture in U19 volleyball tournament today

Jamaica's boys' and girls' U19 volleyball teams will be in action at the Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association (CAZOVA) U19 Championship semi-finals at the GC Foster College in St Catherine today.

The girls will face off against the US Virgin Islands for a spot in the final at 5 p.m. while the boys will take on Barbados in their semi-final fixture at 7 p.m.

The girls had finished second in Pool A behind Barbados and qualified after defeating Aruba 3-0 in the quarterfinals.

However, the boys went their preliminary round undefeated after topping Pool A and advanced to the semi-finals automatically.

The other semi-final fixtures of the competition see Trinidad taking on the US Virgin Islands at 1 p.m. in the boys' competition while Barbados and Trinidad will fight for the other spot in the girls' final at 3 p.m.
