Jamaica’s trio through to 100m hurdles semis at Paris Olympics

Janeek Brown, Danielle Williams and Ackera Nugent booked their spots in the semi-final round of the Women's 100-metre hurdles as automatic qualifiers at the ongoing Paris Olympics.

Williams, who won heat four, crossed the line in 12.59 seconds. Reigning national champion and record holder Ackera Nugent also finished ahead of the field as she took heat five in 12.65 seconds.

Brown, who competed in heat one, finished third in 12.84 seconds.

Puerto Rico's Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, winner of heat two, was the fastest qualifier as she stopped the clock at 12.42 seconds.
