Lead, corporate affairs, National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCBJ) – Belinda Williams, is flanked by Carla Myrie, executive director, Nature Preservation Foundation, and Christopher Vendryes, head – retail, NCB Insurance Agency, after planting the first flower at the Bird Garden Gazebo and Garden Space at Hope Gardens on October 31. Together, the organisations aim to create a meaningful tribute to breast cancer warriors while also supporting essential services for those affected by the disease across Jamaica. Through this initiative, 30 per cent of the revenue generated from the rental of the gazebo will be donated to the Jamaica Cancer Society on NCBJ’s behalf, for the next three years.
