You're treading a thin line

THE EDITOR, Sir:
I hope the chairman of the Manatt, Phelps & Phillips enquiry, Mr Emil George, is aware that he, more than anybody else, is being watched and measured.
If he has a reputation to maintain, he had better make sure that it does not appear to Jamaicans and the world that he came across as being biased, unfair, politically driven and that his selection was indeed done to bring added corruption to the already sullied system, as was argued.
I note the many disallowances, on his part, when cross-examination is being done by Messrs Knight and Atkinson, and the many sympathising words he offers for the side of his selectees.
I am, etc.,
