Traffic pileup after alleged madman shot, injured in Half-Way Tree

An INDECOM vehicle is spotted in the bumper to bumper traffic in Half-Way Tree today after a man of unsound mind was shot and injured by a police.

A man believed to be of unsound mind, was reportedly shot and injured by police on Hagley Park Road in the vicinity of the former Housing Ministry, this morning.

Eyewitnesses say that the man, who reportedly had a knife was told to drop it on the ground by police.

He complied but reportedly pulled another one and was shot in the left leg.

He was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital.

The INDECOM is probing the incident.

The incident caused a pile up of traffic on Half-Way Tree Road.
