Amanda Fraser, conceptualiser of the not-for-profit project known as '26 Acts of Grace,' spends her unemployment fulfilling a call for charity. She committed herself to completing 26 charitable acts before her 26th birthday last month.

"I have had a very supportive network which includes my parents, siblings and friends, who have encouraged me and ensured me that I can do anything in life or be anything that I want to be," said Fraser.

The range of completed acts includes a clothing drive, donation of 100 individually wrapped books to a Manchester Boy's Home and participation in the WATA Kids Treat at the Bustamante Hospital for Children where Fraser delivered hand-drawn pictures for the children to colour.

While she began the campaign to fill the void created by unemployment, the charity element has evolved into a lifestyle that is more than a passing phase for Fraser.
