12-year-old boy, mother shot dead in St James attack

A 12-year-old Hopewell High School student and his mother were this morning killed by gunmen in Tucker, St James.
It's reported that about 3 o'clock, the 12-year-old boy, a 16-year-old sibling, their mother, and stepfather were asleep at home on 13th Street, when the door was kicked in by men who later fired several shots.
The youngster and his mom were hit all over their bodies.
However, 16-year-old child and the stepfather managed to escape.
The police are still on the crime scene at this hour.
