Man stabbed to death during dispute in August Town

A dispute between two men, believed to be brothers, in August Town, St Andrew last night has left one dead and the other in hospital under police guard, law enforcement sources have revealed.

According to the police, 35-year-old Ryan Murray of Bryce Hill Road also in St Andrew, died from a stab wound to the chest.

It's reported that the man accused of stabbing him was also injured.

After going murder-free all of last year, August Town has so far recorded four homicides this year.

The police Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) confirmed Murray's death, but said his attacker is unknown.

According to CCU and police sources, Murray and another man had an argument in the Bryce Hill Square.

It's reported that the quarrel escalated and knives were drawn and both men injured.
