What happens when the best beauty company in the world teams up with one of Jamaica's biggest distribution companies? Something so enchanting it will tip the scale of glamour!

L’Oreal’s aim is to share beauty with all, from the young to the 'ageless', so they have decided to grace our shores with all things hair care, skin care and cosmetics in a bigger way.

We caught up with L’Oreal at their official launch held at the Talk of the Town suite at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel in New Kingston recently.

With Facey Commodity’s tagline, 'Bringing the best to you', it was only natural that they would partner with 'look’ moguls L’Oreal in bringing the best beauty line to you.

Michel Fahmy, L'Oreal’s outgoing general manager explained that the company's products make whatever is on the inside stand out. “We do beauty, beauty for all, creating 35 brands under the one product ranging from hair to make up. We believe we have so much potential in Jamaica,” he said.

The brands include Garnier, Maybelline, Essie, Diesel, Ralph Lauren, Lancome, Giorgio Armani and NYX, just to name a few.

Marketing director of L'Oreal Caribe — Consumer Division, Monica Ponce said that for her, beauty is passion. “L'Oreal Paris is the number one beauty brand in the world, effortlessly going from red carpet to the sidewalk. When we feel good about ourselves, nobody can handle us. And L’Oreal helps us to make that happen.”

Chairman of Facey Commodity, Patrick Scott, welcomed the partnership, and plans to make L’Oreal products household names in Jamaica. “We will continue to grow the economy in any way we can by bringing the best to us. We know a thing or two about beauty. After all, we are beautiful people.”

So, Jamaica, are you ready? L’Oreal and Facey Commodity sure are eager and ready to sweep the nation with beauty.
