57-year-old woman shot, killed in St Catherine

The Linstead police have launched an investigation into the murder of a woman in Victoria District, St Catherine, this morning.
The woman has only been identified as a 57-year-old labourer.
Reports are that she was at home about 7:30 this morning, when she was approached by a gunman.
The man reportedly asked for a male relative, who was not at home.
As the man left he reportedly fired several shots, killing the woman.
The police say no motive has yet been established for the murder, but investigators are following useful leads.
