'Unity in the City' Travis Greene's C'ban launching pad - Unity Movement launches Travis Greene Crossover Caribbean Tour
SWOT Business Solutions, organisers of the Unity Movement for Peace launched last year in Jamaica, has officially expanded the project this year to include a complete Caribbean tour for international recording artiste Travis Greene. Greene is the headliner for the second 'Unity In The City' concert, to be staged in Jamaica today.
Unity in the City combines music, comedy and dance. "We have revolutionised gospel events in Jamaica. Unity in the City is fast-growing and cannot keep up with the demands to host multiple events in other cities as far as New York," Antoinette Ellis, one of the organisers of the event, shared
Last year's event was sold out. This year, the Unity In The City event marks the launch of the Caribbean leg of the Travis Greene World Tour. After today's event at the National Stadium, The Travis Greene Crossover Live from the Caribbean Tour is set to visit Grenada, Trinidad, Antigua, Grand Cayman, Barbados, and The Bahamas throughout April.
"One of our missions is to create an avenue to engage culture and impact cities and the nation as a whole by executing only world-class, sold-out events that promote wholesome family entertainment and peace," Jermaine Edwards, peace ambassador for the movement, said.
The Unity In The City concert will also feature multi-award-winning international gospel act Israel Haughton, US trailblazer JJ Hairston, and Jamaican gospel powerhouse acts Jermaine Edwards, DJ Nicholas and Kevin Downswell.
