Carifta Games 2018 | Jamaicans sweep 200m finals
Like they did earlier in the evening when they had a clean sweep in the sprint hurdles, it was the same story in the 200m at the Flow Carifta Games, as led by a sprint double in the under-17 category by Briana Williams, Jamaica dominated the 200 metres, winning all four events.
Following her record run in the 100 metres on Saturday's opening day, Williams raced to personal best of 23.11 seconds in winning the half-lap event. Team-mate Sasheika Steele finished fourth in 24.13 seconds.
The vastly-improved Ockera Myrie picked up her second individual medal of the Games, after an easy win in the girls under-20 event, stopping the clock at 23.34 seconds with team-mate Ray-donna Lee ending fourth in 23.77 seconds.
There were four medals for Jamaica among the boys with Rajay Morris and Christopher Taylor mining gold.
Morris won the under-17 event in 21.25 seconds with team-mate Andre Bent, the 100m champion, finishing second in 21.42 seconds.
Taylor closed the sweep with an easy win in the under-20 boys event after winning in 20.38 seconds. It was bronze for team-mate Xavier Nairne, who clocked 21.07 seconds for third place.
