Damion Thomas and Orlando Bennett captured gold and silver in the Men's 110m hurdles at the IAAF World Under 20 Championships in Tampere, Finland earlier today.
Thomas the joint world record holder in the event was off to a good start as he led all the way for the win, in 13.16 seconds, to make up for the disappointment two years ago when he hit the first hurdle in the semi-final and failed to finish.
Bennett, who hit the eight hurdle, did well to maintain his composure to finish second and capture silver after clocking 13.33 seconds.
He held off the fast finishing, Shunsuke Izumya of Japan, who clocked third in a personal best of 13.38 seconds.
