KIN is the story of an unexpected hero destined for greatness. A 12-year-old African-American boy discovers a weapon on the street that puts a big threat on his back.

Chased by a vengeful criminal (James Franco), the Feds and a gang of otherworldly soldiers, the teenager (Myles Truitt) and his recently released ex-con brother (Jack Reynor) are forced to go on the run with the weapon of mysterious origin as their only protection. The science-fiction, action film is directed by Jonathan and Josh Baker and written by Daniel Casey, based on the 2014 short film Bag Man. It stars Academy Award nominee James Franco, Jack Reynor, Zoe Kravitz, Carrie Coon, Dennis Quaid, and Myles Truitt.
