RUBiS reopens upgraded Port Morant service station

RUBiS Energy Jamaica Limited (RUBiS) has officially commenced operations at its latest renovated service station in Port Morant, St Thomas.

At an official opening ceremony held last Thursday, RUBiS' Retail Manager Raymond Samuels, commented that the move was a significant milestone for the fuel retail giant.

"Reopening our doors in St Thomas is a significant accomplishment for our brand. It symbolises our commitment not only to Jamaica, but to the parish of St Thomas," Samuels said.

The retail manager also divulged that the opening of the newly renovated Port Morant outlet marks the first of two service station openings for October.

"We [RUBiS] are also very excited about the official re-opening of our Brown's Town location in St Ann later this month. Both sites were transformed to the latest version of RUBiS Service Station and RUBiS Ultra Shop, with modern facilities and state-of-the-art technology which include double-walled tanks equipped with automatic tank gauging [ATG] and smart fuel-control systems and the latest point-of-sale hardware," Samuels said.

RUBiS' value-added services, such as its Ultra Shop, provide customers with convenient retail offerings which include refreshment, mobile top-ups and car-care products , along with well-maintained restroom facilities.

Its most recent initiative, dubbed 'Fuel Up and Cruise', gives customers the chance to win a share of over J$3 million in cash and prizes. Weekly prizes include five grand prizes of a Caribbean cruise, Megamart shopping sprees, cash prizes, KFC meal vouchers, and phone credit.

"RUBiS is giving back through an ongoing community-based initiative called the InPulse Art Project, which provides underprivileged young adults with tutoring lessons as well as scholarships to attend the Edna Manley College for the Visual and Performing Arts," Samuels said.
