Something Extra | Friday
Out with the old and in the new? Not exactly. It’s more along the lines of a change of location, with the same amazing African-inspired designs. EtAl opened bigger doors on Windsor Avenue in March, and shoppers are already loving the refreshing approach to luxurious fashion. That window of opportunity was one that owner Deean Fontain was always looking for.
Many business owners have downsized due to the pandemic, turning to e-commerce and all things virtual for survival. For Fontain, while she has remained focused on building a strong online presence, she still believes that it is important to create the idyllic fitting experience. “At this time, I thought it was important to innovate, so we are about to launch our e-commerce platform. But I also wanted to move to a location that was bigger and more financially feasible,” said Fontain. Not only is EtAl growing, they are also diversifying, providing custom-made designs in-house. The store also now includes an area for local talent. See what’s inside at www.flairja.com.
