Six shot, three fatally in Maverley gang attack
Six people have been shot, three fatally by gunmen in Maverley, St Andrew.
Head of the St Andrew South Police Division Senior Superintendent Kirk Rickets said it was a gang attack.
It happened around 8:30 p.m.
According to the divisional commander, a police team that was in the area responded to the attack and there was a shootout with the alleged gunmen.
Ricketts also said there was a high-speed chase, which ended in the St Andrew North Police Division where the gunmen abandoned their vehicle and escaped.
The police have since seized the vehicle.
