67-y-o carpenter accused of stabbing teenager in Hanover
A 67-year-old carpenter has been charged with wounding with intent after allegedly stabbing a teenager in Sandy Bay, Hanover.
He is Igal Streets, otherwise called 'Border', of Mount Pelier district, Sandy Bay.
The Sandy Bay police say about 3:07 p.m., Streets and a 15-year-old had an altercation which escalated and the teen was chopped by Streets with a machete.
The teenager was assisted to the hospital where he was treated and released.
A report was made to the police and a statement collected from the teen, which implicated Streets.
Streets was subsequently arrested and charged.
