The Manatt-Dudus commission of enquiry has brought our country into disgrace. As the enquiry progresses, it is clear from the many contradictory statements made that some persons, at least, are telling lies. The sad truth is that the main persons who are giving evidence are the leaders of the country. This is the leadership of Jamaica on display - for the world to see.

On January 18, 2011, I parked my 1990 Toyota motor car at the top of Duke Street, Kingston, which has been one of my 'safe' parking areas over the last 30 years. When I returned an hour later, my car was gone. After some anxious moments and frantic enquiries, I learnt that a wrecker had towed my car (and others as well) to the Kingston and St Andrew Corporation (KSAC) pound on Church Street.

Despite repeated complaints about the work of the lawyers at the now unfolding saga of the Manatt-Dudus commission of enquiry, I am compelled to congratulate them on the excellent work done so far. The People's National Party's K.D. Knight, QC, is to be applauded for ably leading the way.
