Xodus Tailgate leads the way into the carnival weekend
Xodus Tailgate is set to lead the way into the highly anticipated carnival weekend. The highfrequency event will commence tomorrow, Thursday, April 13, at the National Stadium.
Revellers are already pumped for the extraordinary experience which will see a live performance by hot soca act Voice. The DJ line-up is even better, featuring a host of international DJs, with Travis World, Major Penny, Selectah Kerry, Dj Charlotte, Brush 1, and many more.
Managing Director of Dream Entertainment, co-owners of Xodus, Scott Dunn, says Tailgate is a mainstay event in Jamaica carnival and encourages persons to come out and have a good time.
“I think it is fair to say that Xodus Tailgate is a signature part of Carnival in Jamaica, as we have been hosting the event for three years. Tailgate is a high-frequency event that kick-starts the carnival weekend, and this Thursday will be an experience like no other. We are encouraging persons to come out with their friends to have fun and make memories,” he said.
Xodus Tailgate is sponsored by First Rock, Hennessy, FX Trader, Tropicana, Pepsi, Foska Oats, and many others.
Carnival week celebrations officially begins on April 13 and will end with a bang on April 16 with the highly anticipated Road March parade. After carnival, experts predict that the island is expected to see an influx of international visitors to the island which, it is estimated, could cause a J$5-billion boost to the economy.
