Erasing the black spots

All women want to be beautiful and maintain flawless skin, but with darkness of the inner thighs, buttocks and bikini areas, it's easy to say goodbye to shorts, skirts and stunning bikinis that allow you to be you. However, it doesn't have to be a permanent flaw. There are effective, lasting ways to turn your 'blackness' into 'glow'. The market is filled with skin-whitening creams, lotions, eye creams and age spots, but according to dermatologist Llorenia Muir-Green, you may not get the results you're looking for. With home remedies such lemon juices and aloe vera, some women may get rid of those black spots, but Muir-Green advises that we see a dermatologist to receive the most effective solution.

A part of self-care is eating properly and maintaining your appropriate weight, and while you may love sitting around the TV with a box of ice cream, weight may be the main cause of your problems. "When you are overweight, your thighs will rub together, creating friction and, eventually, dark areas. Even resting your elbows or knees on a surface may cause darknening," she told Flair. Muir-Green suggests that women purchase glycolic acid moisturisers or lightening creams with niacinamide and avoid the mercury that is present in creams such as Nadinola.

If you are ready to take better care of your body, here are a few tips from 'Beauty Tips For Her' to prevent darkening or to reduce pigmentation.

1.Wear loose-fitting, cotton underwear. Cotton prevents excess sweating since it does not absorb much heat.

2. Avoid shaving the pubic area or using hair-removal lotions. Shaving damages the skin, causing scarring and darkening of the area. Hair-removal lotions have chemicals that can damage sensitive skin. Waxing to remove hair offers a better alternative and will not lead to discoloration.

3.Use an unscented, non-acidic, mild soap for cleaning the area between the thighs.

4.Eat a healthy diet that includes a variety of fruits and vegetables, wholegrain cereals, and lean meat. Avoid fatty foods to maintain good skin.

5.Drink lots of water, which can flush out toxins and keep the skin smooth and hydrated.

6.Use sunblock with at least SPF 30 to prevent exposed skin from darkening. Visit a dermatologist to get the most effective solution and get dark spots gone from your beauty.
