The RJR Communications Group once again allowed mouth-watering foodies in and around the Corporate Area to enjoy the delectable offerings during the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week, with its annual Pop Up CafÈ.

The RJR complex on Lyndhurst was transformed last Friday into an outside kitchen with a variety of scrumptious dishes from Jacqui Tyson From Yardstyle to Gourmet.

The savoury Restaurant Week menu had enough to satisfy every desired palate - red peas soup with pig's tail appetiser, Boston jerked chicken, buffalo wings, fish done to order, spicy jerked sausage, mackerel rundown, Jamrock fried sprat and polenta (tun cornmeal), festival, roast sweet potato, and breadfruit.

Among those dining were The Gleaner's Managing Director Christopher Barnes, RJR's Managing Director Gary Allen, and Deputy General Manager and Outside Broadcast Production Manager of Television Jamaica Trevor Johnson, who were spotted enjoying Jacqui's highly requested mango glazed pig's tail and festival.

To cool things down a bit, there was a bar with various mixed drinks and vino. To top that, patrons enjoyed free samples of beef and soy mini patties, courtesy of Juici Patties, refreshing beverages from Cal's, and delicious dessert treats from Kremi - a variety of flavourful ice cream.
