Rich wines and cocktails, delightful hors d'oeuvres, all against the backdrop of exquisite decor. M10 Bar and Grill, started the week off with a bang, exceeding palatable expectations at the reopening of their bar on Monday night.

Socialites and specially invited guests, rocked the red carpet at the Vineyard Town location in high fashion, and were later seen engaging in discussions with friends. They were introduced to the pre-bar of the evening, courtesy of Betco Premier Limited, who made the rounds with mimosas and other vino beverages. As the night progressed, they were given a taste of M10's flavours to savour. Chicken kebabs, saltfish platter complete with roasted breadfruit, roasted yam and fried dumplings, panko shrimp, garden salad, curried goat spring roll and beef sliders, had attendees salivating for more.

These appetising offering stood as the precursor to the main event. Restaurant manager, O'Neil Prendergast, welcomed everyone to the grand occasion. Being in operation for eight years, the master of ceremonies explained that their mouth watering dishes made M10 a household name, but it is the owner, Marvin Tenn's brand, that has made the restaurant a household name for authentic Jamaican cuisine. He described the feature for the night, as more than just a bar, but the idea and drive of Tenn's vision, coming to life in vibrant colour. "The newly renovated bar is a reflection of Marvin Tenn's personality: sturdy, strength to endure, warm and inviting, and a beam of light to all he comes in contact with."

He expressed gratitude to BetCo for their fabulous start on the night, and to Wray and Nephew for their incredible assistance in revitalising the new bar. Lights, flashing cameras and official ribbon-cutting action, with the owners, the wife of the Prime Minister, Juliet Holness and the Custos of Kingston, Steadman Fuller, quickly followed suit.

From there, mixologists whipped out their A-game at the open bar, satisfying the signature and top shelf requests of guests. Pastries by Jan, provided the icing on the cake, supplying lovers of all things sweet with an assortment of desserts. The buffet of cheesecake squares, made of rum and raisin bailey's Irish cream, along with other flavours, chocolate raspberry cakes topped with fresh berries, tiramisu cups and mixed berry trifle, had everyone returning for more.

M10's newly launched bar will definitely have more enchanting tales to share.
