It might be sinful to have this Green Devil.
You can never go wrong with fried fish and bammy.

Who does not love tender jerked chicken? Well Serengeti makes it just right with a perfect blend of flavours.
The reggae pasta can be had on its own but for meat lovers adding jerk pork takes it from great to awesome.

Serengeti is opened on Fridays and Saturdays. For those who are looking to get away in a cool setting, it is great. One is surrounded by wildlife of the zoo, the cool outdoors and a rustic, laid-back experience.

They pride themselves on family-like entertainment, Sparkles Entertainment on a Saturday night and Indigenous on some Fridays. The early hours usually attract the young at heart and at 10 the party turns up for those who are looking for an after-work jam on Fridays. They still like to maintain respect for their surrounding animals at the zoo, so that children and adults that might be coming to see the animals the next day, get to see fun, beautiful animals at their best and not tired party animals.

The bar is known for its fine tropical cocktails. While they do serve bottled beverages for those who like to keep it simple, for those who are looking for a little 'sass' in their drink, it is served. Something sweet, something smooth and something frozen all are offered at the Serengeti with a bit ofAppleton.

While the restaurant is named after one of the most popular wildlife ecosystems in Africa to complement the fact that it is in the zoo surrounded by phenomenal animals, the cuisine is truly Jamaican. Jerked pork and chicken for your liking, served with rolls or fries, diners choice. Of course, we also love our fried fish with bammy, which is also on the menu. However, if you are not a meat lover there is the choice for a reggae pasta just for you. All vegetables are fresh from their farm.

They try to tend to the needs of every customer, thus some may call beforehand to make special requests that might enhance their dining experience.

While the restaurant is officially opened two nights for the week, the venue is available for rent for events such as birthday and office parties, conferences and wedding receptions which they will cater for or otherwise.

They are working on opening for more days in the week. While every last Friday is their seafood night, they are working on adding a crab night and steak and ribs night as they expand their work opening week. In the meantime, feast your eyes on a few of their Appleton cocktails and their ingredients that you should definitely try if you make your way over to their nightlife.
