RW 2018 | L'Escargot giving you a taste of France
Often described as the 'jewel of Runaway Bay', L'Escargot is a chic restaurant located along the main road. This being his sixth venture in the restaurant business, host chef Neville Anderson believes his restaurant captures a piece of the true European experience.
Founded in June 2016, L'Escargot is the ultimate epicurean escape for patrons seeking an intimate dining experience which is guaranteed to excite the taste buds.
The featured appetiser dish, Escargots and Scallops Vol Au Vent in Caviar Wine Sauce, is a new and exciting spin on a French classic.
"This is a new dish and it's one of the signature dishes. I thought it would be most appropriate since it has escargots, so I did a special version just for Restaurant Week," Anderson stated.
And though Anderson is the brain child behind the operation, he heaps praises on his sous-chef, Lloyeston Dunn. "He is one of the most disciplined persons I've ever worked with, and I've worked with a lot."
