The sweet sounds of French music echoing in the picturesque scenery of a uniquely Parisian-inspired decor are simple things you can experience once you open the doors of Fromage Bistro.

Located on Hillcrest Avenue, the sophisticated, chic eatery is no stranger to the urban restaurant world. In fact, it has been teasing taste buds in and around the city for almost six years. According to Arnaldo Martin, junior marketing and communications coordinator, the stout-glazed ribs is surefire hit among food lovers. He continued by noting that you can never go wrong with pasta, so many return for more of the chicken Alfredo pasta, and the salads are everything. The culinary concept came to life courtesy of owner Lisa Chin, who has always had a passion for pleasing palates. Her love lead her to create a timeless escape into all things savoury and sweet.

Fromage Bistro's talented chefs took Food on a tasty tour of Euro-Jamaican-fused cuisine. And we've decided to carry you with us, so hop aboard this tantalising train. Let's journey through freshly prepared Tuscan pasta in a light tomato cream sauce accompanied by an assortment of shrimp chicken and Italian sausages. Prepare for shrimp scampi flatbread, consisting of Parmesan, shrimp, mozzarella and a white wine sauce, a health nut salad of alfalfa sprouts, lettuce, quinoa, kale, chia, salmon, pumpkin seeds, and strawberry vinaigrette. Enjoy a Cuban rice bowl filled with mango aioli, tomato salsa, plantain, mojo chicken, black beans and yellow rice, and bacon-wrapped succulent pork served with a side of mashed sweet potatoes and steamed vegetables.

Salivating yet? Well, highlights from this excursion also played out with intoxicated notes of Appleton Estate-motivated mixes,

Bartender Kymani Colley explained that he admires the versatility of Appleton Estate brands, and loves the fact that he can take just about any one of the company's signature spirits and create a complex mix guaranteed to leave his customers in high spirits. He whipped up his special basil mash, which is a twist on a classic mojito Wray & Nephew white rum, took us on vacation with his sweet renditions of tropical wave and pina punch - a piÒa colada and punch combination - and finished in style with his cosmopolitan edition: the Campari Suave.

So if you are looking to enjoy good service, great food in a lovely environment with your loved ones or your potential loved ones, then sail on over and say "Sante!" ("Cheers!") to Fromage Bistro today.
