PSOJ's Jennifer McDonald resigns as CEO

Jennifer McDonald, the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ), has resigned.
PSOJ President Howard Mitchell made the announcement yesterday.
The resignation takes effect on September 30.
"Regrettably, Ms McDonald has decided to leave the PSOJ to pursue other professional options," Mitchell said.
He said during the six months of her tenure, McDonald vigorously applied her energies to the benefit of the PSOJ and demonstrated strong work ethic and dedication to the job.
"We wish her the very best in her future endeavours," Mitchell said.
McDonald joined the PSOJ as CEO in February 2018 after a brief stint as head of the Dispute Resolution Foundation. She succeeded Dennis Chung, who left the PSOJ after nearly five years to take up the chief financial officer position at Supreme Ventures.
She had spent nine years at the Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency as CEO, but the national security ministry opted not to renew her contract.
