Invisible bridge

THE EDITOR, Sir:

One of the lasting images of last year's by-election in St Mary was that of Prime Minister Andrew Holness, with pants foot rolled up, wading across a river to meet residents.

He promised them a bridge in short order. Earlier this year residents demonstrated as they were still wading across the river. No bridge.

Prime Minister Holness then guaranteed they would have their bridge before the hurricane season.

Well, we are two months into the hurricane season and still no bridge.

I have a bridge selling.
