East Kingston police nab 16 wanted men
The East Kingston police are reporting that 16 wanted men have been arrested and charged for a number of serious crimes committed across the division, the corporate area and St Catherine since the start of the year.
The police say the men were all taken into custody incident free.
They also say six homemade firearms, two Taurus 9 millimeter pistols and twenty rounds of ammunition have also been removed from the streets of the Kingston Eastern Division making it safer for its citizens.
Deputy Superintendent of Police and Crime Officer for the Kingston eastern police, Christopher Brown, says the cops within the division remain committed to offering quality service and to creating safer communities.
And he is imploring persons who are wanted for various crimes to turn themselves in peacefully and avoid confrontation with the Police.
He is also appealing to relatives not to expose themselves to danger by harbouring unlawful individuals.
