Brother dies in dispute with sibling

A dispute between two brothers over a bicycle ended in tragedy this morning in Duanvale, Trelawny.

Dead is 44-year-old labourer, Lincoln Barrett.

Reports are that the incident happened at about 11:00 this morning. Barrett was reportedly chopped several times with a machete during the dispute. He died immediately.

The accused brother allegedly ran and hid in bushes, but subsequently called an older brother who assisted him to surrender to the police.
