Two of six St James-based entertainers are to return to court today on drug charges.

Simone Bacchas and Claudette Miller-Robinson are to make their latest appearance in the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate’s Court later today.

At the last hearing earlier on April 8, the court was told that the prosecution’s case file was not yet complete.

Bacchas is charged with possession of, dealing in, and attempting to export one-and-a-half pounds of cocaine, while Miller-Robinson is charged in relation to one pound of cocaine.

Both were among six persons who were arrested on December 18, 2014 at the Sangster International Airport in St James.

They were reportedly held with cocaine prior to boarding a flight out of Jamaica.

The other entertainers pleaded guilty to their charges.
