Another suspect held for Westmoreland quadruple murder

A second suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the July 12 murders of four persons in Whithorn, Westmoreland.
Senior Superintendent of Police in charge of St James, Steve McGregor, says the man, who is believed to be one of the parish’s most wanted criminals, was picked up during a police operation in Mount Salem.
The suspect's identity is being withheld.
Last week the police charged 19-year-old Jevaughn Flemmings with four counts of murder and one count of illegal possession of a firearm in relation to the killings.
Flemmings had earlier surrendered to the police.
Fourteen-year-old Shawn Clayton, 20-year-old Romario Drummond, 22-year-old Theodore Tennant and 16-year-old Demar Doeman were at a shop on Old Road, Whithorn playing a video game when four men approached and shot them.
The police say the shooting stemmed from the illicit lottery scam.
The police also say one of the murdered men was an accused in a shooting incident that occurred several months ago.
