INDECOM interviews Hunt's Bay police after alleged cop killer is beaten in custody

The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) says it has interviewed all nine police officers who were on duty at the Hunt's Bay Police Station in St Andrew, where a suspect held for the murder of a policewoman was brutally beaten.
The police oversight body says it has also copied all the entries in the station diary on the day of the incident.
INDECOM says its investigators have also collected statements from all the inmates who were in the cell with the suspect.
The suspect remains in hospital in critical condition.
He was allegedly beaten up on July 15, hours after he was arrested for the murder of police constable, Crystal Thomas.
He was reportedly found unconscious and is said to have suffered serious head injuries.
Thomas was shot dead a bus on Spanish Town Road on July 14, after she was identified as a cop.
