Comrades clash with police, private security at PNP conference

A slew of security personnel with conflicting information for entrance and exits have resulted in supporters clashing with police and private security at today's public session of the People's National Party (PNP) 77th annual conference at the National Arena.

Comrades were accessing the arena through the gate closest to the National Indoor Sports Centre.

However, security arrangements that were implemented in place Saturday were changed overnight, apparently without being communicated to the large crowd expected today, leaving virtual chaos at entry points.
