Al Miller's trial to resume November 4

Miller .... his defence team told the court that they recently received the transcript of the testimony of former police commissioner Owen Ellington at the West Kingston Commission of Enquiry.

The trial of Kingston pastor Reverend Al Miller is now scheduled to resume on November 4.

Miller's bail has been extended until that time.

When he appeared in the Corporate Area Magistrate's Court today his attorneys asked the court for more time.

Miller’s defence team told the court that they recently received the transcript of the testimony of former police commissioner Owen Ellington at the West Kingston Commission of Enquiry.

The lawyers said they needed more time to review the document.

Miller is being tried for attempting to pervert the course of justice.

He was charged after then wanted man Christopher 'Dudus' Coke was found in a car he was driving on June 22, 2010

Coke was wanted on an extradition warrant at the time he was captured along Mandela Highway in St Catherine, in a sport utility vehicle that was being driven by Miller.
