Children killed in road crashes decreases

National Road Safety Council (NRSC) statistics show that the number of children killed on the nation’s roadways continue to decline.
Since the start of the year, the NRSC says 16 children have died in motor vehicle crashes.
This is six less than was recorded for the corresponding period last year and 12 less than was recorded for the same period in 2013.
According to the statistics, eight of those killed were passengers in private motor vehicles while six were pedestrians.
