The Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) says West Central St Catherine Member of Parliament, Dr Ken Baugh remains in intensive care following a readmission this week.
JLP general secretary, Dr Horace Chang says Dr Baugh was admitted to the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI) in St Andrew on Tuesday after being discharged at least a day earlier to free up bed spaces.
However, Dr Chang says given the nature of the illness, the situation requires close monitoring.

Last month, Dr Baugh underwent a brain surgery that the JLP reported was successful.
Dr Baugh is an outgoing parliamentarian, having announced last year that he was quitting politics.
