THE NESTLÉ As You Wish promotion is in its first year, and emerged from the Nestlé 75th anniversary celebration observed this year. The vision was to grant the wishes of individuals and families with real needs and special circumstances that would help to transform their lives positively.

Nestlé believes that a wish experience can be a game-changer and this inspired them to grant wishes monthly and change the lives of the families they serve.

Through the promotion, Nestlé enriched the lives of many, including Natalie Singleton, Cavelle Stewart-Brown, Simone Streete, Letalee Ulett, Nordeen Haughton, Shauna-Lee Gordon, Athena Linton, and Chadai Fagan. In addition to their wish, all winners received supermarket vouchers and Nestlé product hampers.

Some recipients said Nestlé has inspired them and strengthened their families with expressions of joy and fulfilment and left smiles on their faces.

According to Shawna Kidd, corporate communications and community relations manager, Nestlé, every letter received and every wish granted provided the company with an immense feeling of fulfilment. She said Nestlé was more than happy to make these dreams come true, while recognising that there were countless ways to bring happiness to people.

Other sponsors of the promotion included The Gleaner Company (Media) Limited, the RJR Communications Group, Hope Zoo, Upper Cut Barber (Liguanea), Sangster’s Book Store, and Carlong Publishers.
