Portland taxi driver hospitalised in critical condition

A taxi operator was hospitalised in critical condition yesterday evening after a motor vehicle crash in Port Antonio, Portland.

The police report that the taxi operator was heading west towards Port Antonio in his Toyota Corolla motor car about 6:30 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle. He swerved to the right and then collided into the side of a truck heading in the opposite direction.

His condition is considered to be life threatening.
