It’s two from two for the Jamaica Tallawahs at home following their 108-run win over the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots under lights at Sabina Park on Saturday evening in the HERO Motocorp Caribbean Premier League Twenty20.

The Tallawahs, who lost the toss and were sent in to bat, posted a challenging 183 for six off their maximum 20 overs before returning to restrict the Patriots to a meagre 75 off 15.5 overs.

Vincentian fast bowler Kesrick Williams with three for 24 off his maximum four overs was the Tallawahs' bowling hero.

He was supported by fellow fast bowler, South African all-rounder Dayle Steyn, Andre Russell and spinner, Shakib Al Hasan, who picked up two wickets apiece.

Earlier, the Tallawahs were led in their batting by Kumar Sangakkara, who scored 64.

Young sensation, Rovman Powell, made 35, and Al Hasan, 34 not out.

The victory, the Tallawahs' fourth in six outings, followed a convincing five-wicket win over leaders Guyana Amazon Warriors at Sabina on Friday.

It also takes Jamaica within a point of the Amazon Warriors at the top of the points standings.

Guyana has 10 to Jamaica’s 9 with the front-runners playing one more game than the Tallawahs.

St Kitts remains in fifth position in the six-team standings on two points following a record six defeats and a win.

Jamaica will play their third of four games at Sabina Park on Monday against the Trinidad and Tobago Knight Riders, beginning at 8pm.

They will then close out against Barbados Pride on Wednesday, also at 8pm.
