Third suspect charged in 2016 killing of Corporal Judith Williams

The police have charged a third suspect in the April 2016 killing of Corporal Judith Williams in Dunkirk, east Kingston.

Detectives assigned to the Kingston Eastern Criminal Investigation Branch yesterday arrested and charged 34-year-old vendor Rohan Smith, otherwise called ‘Bull Dawg’, of Phase 2 Seaview Gardens, Kingston 11.

He is charged with Murder, Conspiracy to Murder and Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition.

Smith and two co-accused, Constable Gladstone Williams and Jessie Anderson, are scheduled to appear before the Home Circuit Court on Tuesday, October 2.

Corporal Williams was shot multiple times by armed men about 6:30 a.m., at a bus stop on Brae Street in Dunkirk as she made her way to work on April 28.

She subsequently succumbed on April 29, 2016.
