Councillor's son dead in suspected suicide

The son of a Jamaica Labour Party Councillor in the St Catherine Municipal Corporation is dead in what the police suspect is a case of suicide.
 
The Linstead Police are now investigating the death of 30-year-old Kemar Abrahams of Wakefield, in St Catherine.

Reports are that Abrahams was at home with his mother last evening when an explosion was heard.

He was later found with a bullet wound to his upper body.  Abrahams was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

He is the son of Peter Abrahams, Councillor for the Bog Walk division.
