Two dead, one hospitalised after gun attack in Highgate, St Mary

Two men are dead and a 19-year-old woman battling for life at hospital, after gunmen went on a rampage yesterday evening in Highgate, St Mary.

The deceased have been identified as Rayon Walker, otherwise called 'Evil', and Adrian Black, otherwise called 'Brammer', of Frazer Wood in Highgate and Brown's Town, St Ann.

According to police report Walker, Black, and the woman were in a house at Frazer Wood about 3:16 p.m. yesterday when a gunman entered and fired several shots.

When the shooting subsided, the three were found suffering from gunshot wounds and were rushed to Port Maria hospital.

Walker and Black were pronounced dead on arrival, while the woman was transferred to another hospital in a critical condition.

The police also recovered several 9mm spent shells at the house.

The police have indicated that Walker was out on bail on a charge of murder, which was reportedly committed in St Ann last year.

The St Mary Police Division has recorded 25 killings since the start of the year.
