The police have advised they will be implementing a number of traffic changes to facilitate hosting of the Gibson-McCook Relays on Saturday, at the National Stadium in St Andrew.

They say vehicles travelling along Arthur Wint Drive towards Mountain View Avenue will turn left at Roosevelt Avenue and then right at Stanton Terrace.

Residents travelling easterly along Arthur Wint Drive to the Lofts apartments will use the slip road at the ticket office. Meanwhile, residents travelling from Mountain View Avenue to the Lofts apartments will be allowed to proceed.

Persons going to the Bustamante Hospital for Children and Stadium Gardens should proceed along North Avenue from Old Hope Road.

They say after the closing off of the road, one-way traffic will be allowed from North Avenue towards the stadium

The police also say the area between Gate E2 and E4 will be accessible only to pedestrians.

After the event Arthur Wint Drive will be converted to a one-way from Roosevelt Avenue to Tom Redcam Avenue.
