Four Manchester farmers charged in connection with firearm seizure
Four farmers of an Old England district, Manchester address have been charged with several offences following the seizure of a firearm and several rounds of ammunition during an operation at their home.
Charged with possession of prohibited weapon, unauthorized possession of ammunition and unauthorized use of premises to store firearm and ammunition are 25-year-old Ceejay Wilson, otherwise called 'Six', 20-year-old Richard Golding, 28-year-old Gregory Swaby, and 54-year-old Sandra Golding.
Reports from the Mandeville police are that about 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26, lawmen, armed with a search warrant, conducted an operation at a house in the community.
During the search, a Taurus nine millimetre pistol fitted with a magazine containing ten 9mm rounds was found beneath articles of clothing in a room.
The four were taken into custody where they were subsequently charged on Sunday, July 28.
They are scheduled to appear in the Manchester Parish Court on Wednesday, July 31.
