A magical Jamaican Christmas, showcasing a range of genres and talent, was provided by The Jamaica National Group through its JN Foundation during Sunday afternoon’s ‘Together We’re Strong’ concert. The event was in aid of the Mustard Seed Communities. From YouTube sensation The Mitchells, led by husband and wife entertainers Wayne Marshall and Tami Chin Mitchell, to mento masters Energy Plus Mento Band and enigmatic dub poet duo, No-Madzz; to emerging pop reggae star, Jamila Falak; an electrifying blend of classic, reggae and pop from the Sons of Mystro; as well as the soaring voice performances of Tessanne Chin and the Queen of Reggae herself, Marcia Griffiths, the buffet of musical treats could almost replace a traditional Sunday afternoon dinner. Here are some highlights from the event which patrons can still watch on the JN Group’s Facebook and YouTube pages:.
