Jamaica's women's football team is all but through to the semi-final round of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Olympic qualifiers after a 6-0 drubbing of hosts Dominican Republic in their opening Group Three qualifying game at the Estadio Panamericano in San Cristobal, Dominica Republic, on Sunday.

Jamaica will face Dominica in their final game today, and although a draw will be enough to see the Reggae Girlz through to the next round, an outright victory is expected against the Dominicans.

In Sunday's match, Khadijah Shaw (22nd, 64th) and Venecia Reid (32nd, 39th) led the Reggae Girlz with two goals each, while Tashawna Vincent (78th) and Shanise Foster (80th) netted the other goals.

The Jamaicans (three points) trail hosts Dominican Republic (three points) on goal difference, after the home team blasted in 11 unanswered goals past Dominica in the group's opening game on Friday.

The Reggae Girlz will join the three other group winners in the semi-finals, scheduled for October. The two semi-final winners will receive automatic berths to the CONCACAF final round.
