Penn Relays | Excelsior fastest among 4x400m qualifiers

ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships 4x400m champions Excelsior High, lead five Jamaican teams into the final of the High School Championships of America 4x400m relay, following preliminary round action earlier today at Franklin Field.
   Excelsior finished second in their heat in 3:14.22 behind Bullis out of Maryland, the fastest qualifier with 3:13.80.
 Defending champions Calabar are the third fastest qualifier, after winning their heat in 3:14.84. Kingston College, who won their heat in 3:16.54, Holmwoood who also won their heat in 3:17.59 and Petersfield 3:18.71, are the other qualifiers from Jamaica .
