The Jamaica scorpions lost their second straight game in the Regional Super 50 Cup after going down by eight wickets to the Leeward Islands Hurricanes at Conaree Park in St Kitts on Sunday.

Batting first, the Scorpions posted a respectable 262 for nine in their allotted 50 overs with opener Assad Fudadin top scoring with 107 from 133 balls.

It was the second List 'A' century for the left hander and ironically it was his second hundred in St Kitts.

Right hander Nkrumah Bonner was also good with the bat, as he made 97 before he was run out in the final over of the innings.

Fudadin and Bonner shared in a 133 run 4th wicket stand.

Pacer Sheeno Berridge took two for 59 while Jeremiah Louis bagged two for 58.

Opener Kieron Pollard then hit an unbeaten 121, and Montcin Hodge 64, to guide the Hurricanes to 264 for two in 45 overs and four deliveries. Amir Jangoo chipped in with 37 and Devon Thomas 32 not out.
